Attack of the Killer Tomatoes is a 2D side-scrolling platform game developed by Imagineering Inc. and released for the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) in 1991. The game is based on the animated TV series and movie of the same name, where players control the hero Chad Finletter as he battles against evil tomatoes and their leader, Dr. Putrid T. Gangreen. The game features six levels that take place in various locations, such as a shopping mall, a park, and a laboratory. Players must jump, duck, and shoot their way through hordes of tomato enemies while collecting power-ups and items, such as health and weapons. The game also includes boss battles, where players face off against giant mutated tomatoes.
