"Batman" is a video game released for the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) in 1989. It is based on the 1989 Batman film directed by Tim Burton and starred Michael Keaton as Batman. In the game, players control Batman as he fights his way through various levels to stop the Joker's evil plan. The game features platforming and beat 'em up gameplay, with players able to punch, kick, and use various gadgets to defeat enemies. The game also includes a number of boss battles against iconic Batman villains such as the Joker, the Penguin, and the Riddler.
