The game allows players to compete in various bass fishing tournaments across different lakes and rivers in North America. It features different game modes, including Tournament, Practice, and Quick Fish, and allows players to customize their equipment and lures to maximize their chances of catching the biggest fish. The game also includes a multiplayer mode for up to four players using a Game Link Cable.
