Sangokushi is a series of turn-based strategy games based on the historical events of the Three Kingdoms period in ancient China. The games were developed by Koei and first released on the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) in 1985. The series has since been ported to various platforms, including Game Boy Advance (GBA). In the GBA games, players take on the role of military commanders and must lead their armies to victory by managing resources, recruiting soldiers, and engaging in battles with enemy forces. The games feature a large cast of characters from the Three Kingdoms era, each with their own unique abilities and personalities.
