Kirby's Adventure is a platforming video game developed by HAL Laboratory and published by Nintendo for the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES). It was released in 1993 and features Kirby, a pink puffball who can inhale and copy the abilities of his enemies. The game consists of seven worlds, each with several levels, where Kirby must navigate through obstacles and defeat bosses to collect pieces of the Star Rod and restore power to the Fountain of Dreams. The game also introduced the ability for Kirby to perform various actions, such as slide attacks and flying, by copying certain abilities.
