Life Force is a classic horizontal-scrolling shoot 'em up video game developed and published by Konami for the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) in 1988. The game features both single-player and cooperative two-player gameplay modes, and players control a spacecraft as they blast their way through waves of enemy ships and bosses. Life Force also features power-ups that can enhance the player's weapons and abilities, as well as a unique "biological" theme with levels set inside giant organic creatures. It is considered a cult classic and one of the most iconic titles on the NES console.
