Dragon Warrior II is a role-playing video game released for the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) in 1987. It is the second installment in the Dragon Quest series, developed by Chunsoft and published by Enix (now Square Enix). The game features turn-based battles and a party system where the player controls up to three characters at once. The story follows the descendants of Erdrick, the hero of the first game, as they embark on a quest to defeat an evil wizard named Hargon and restore peace to the land. The game also introduced several new features to the series, including a sailing mechanic and day/night cycle.
