Final Fantasy I is a role-playing video game developed and published by Square (now Square Enix) in 1987. It follows the journey of four warriors of light, who embark on a quest to restore the elemental crystals and defeat the evil forces threatening their world. Final Fantasy II is a sequel to the original game, released in 1988. It introduces a new story and characters, following the rebellion against the Palamecian Empire led by Firion and his friends. The game features a unique leveling system, where character stats increase based on their actions in battle rather than experience points earned.
