"Strider" is an action-platformer video game developed by Capcom and originally released in 1989 for the arcade. The game was later ported to several home consoles, including the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES). In the game, the player controls Strider Hiryu, a ninja-like hero who must fight his way through a futuristic world filled with enemies and obstacles. The NES version of "Strider" was only released in Japan and features similar gameplay to the arcade original, but with some differences in level design and mechanics.
