Ninja Gaiden II is an action-packed platformer game developed by Tecmo for the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES). It was released in 1990 as a sequel to the original Ninja Gaiden game. In this game, the player controls the ninja Ryu Hayabusa as he embarks on a quest to avenge his father's death and stop the evil Jaquio from taking over the world. The gameplay consists of side-scrolling stages with various enemies and obstacles to overcome, as well as boss battles at the end of each stage. The game features improved graphics and gameplay mechanics compared to the first installment, including new power-ups and abilities for Ryu to utilize.
