The Adventures of Tintin: Prisoners of the Sun is a video game based on the comic book series, The Adventures of Tintin, by Belgian cartoonist Hergé. The game follows Tintin and his dog Snowy as they travel through Peru to uncover the mystery behind the disappearance of an archeologist and the connection to the Inca legend of the Seven Cities of Gold. The game features puzzle-solving elements, action sequences, and exploration in a 2D side-scrolling platformer style. It was released for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES) in 1997.
