Ninja Gaiden Trilogy is a video game compilation that includes three action-platformer games originally released for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES): 1. "Ninja Gaiden": Players control Ryu Hayabusa, a ninja who must travel to America in order to stop an evil cult from resurrecting an ancient demon. 2. "Ninja Gaiden II: The Dark Sword of Chaos": Ryu returns to face a new threat as he battles against the mysterious Jaquio and his demonic minions. 3. "Ninja Gaiden III: The Ancient Ship of Doom": In this final installment, Ryu is on a mission to rescue Irene Lew, a CIA agent who has been kidnapped by a terrorist organization known as the "Biohazard Order".
