World Heroes is a series of fighting games developed by ADK and originally released for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES) in the 1990s. The games feature various characters from different time periods and cultures, such as ninjas, samurais, wrestlers, and aliens, who compete in a martial arts tournament called the "World Heroes Battle." Players can choose their favorite character and fight against others in one-on-one battles using a variety of moves and special attacks. The series also includes sequels and spin-offs for other platforms, such as the Neo Geo arcade system and the PlayStation.
