The objective of the game is to guide a boy named Billy to church while avoiding various obstacles and enemies. The game features a variety of power-ups and bonus items, as well as mini-games that can be accessed by collecting certain items. Sunday Funday also includes a two-player mode where two players can take turns controlling Billy.
