Wizards and Warriors is a series of fantasy-themed platformer games developed by Rare for the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) in the late 1980s. The games star a knight named Kuros who must navigate through various levels filled with enemies, obstacles, and treasures to defeat an evil wizard and rescue a princess. The series consists of three games: Wizards and Warriors, Ironsword: Wizards and Warriors II, and Wizards and Warriors III: Kuros: Visions of Power. The games feature side-scrolling gameplay, RPG elements such as inventory management and character progression, and colorful graphics and soundtracks.
